Training FAQs

How do I get my dog started in a training course?
Head over to our Contact Us page and fill out our form! We will get back to you and we can schedule your dog's first training session!

Which training class is right for my dog?

If you have a puppy, then our puppy program would be best suited for you. This depends on your dogs age, training experience, your goals as the pet owner, and more. James at Grandpaws will be able to discuss which option would be best for your pup.

Are vaccinations required for training?
Yes. In order to maintain a safe environment for all of our furry friends, all dogs must be current on their rabies, distemper and bordatella (kennel cough) vaccinations.

How long is the Board and Train Program?
Depending on the severity of the issue, your dog can stay with Grandpaws to learn new behaviors for as little as 2 weeks. During this time, we will work with, socialize, and teach your pet the ins and outs of behavior then work with you on what they have learned when we return them to you.
